Loofah Sponges
Loofah sponges are actually grown on a plant, and are not from the ocean. They are edible when young and tender and look a bit like a zucchini. But letting them dry out and harden on the vine creates an all-natural sponge inside. The sponge is gentle yet exfoliating, and I haven’t used a single plastic loofah since I started growing these in 2023.
Organic sponges can last over a year with proper care, and reduce plastic waste into our oceans and landfills. Use them in the shower, the sink, or cut 1″ rounds to make scrubby hand soaps!
